Brunei citizens will no longer need to have their passports stamped through the country's immigration control posts , with this new procedure of scanning the passport to be implemented starting from Monday 14th April 2008These passports will be scanned using a passport scanner and the information will be stored in the Border Control System database of the Immigration and National Registration.

How the process of my new passport going on?31 Julai 2008, Registration form filled at 6.00 am... soon i woke up ----> then bekakas my old pasport.. mencari birth certificate... then minta details bapa.. nda ingat number IC nya.... jeng jeng........ mandiiiiiiiiiii
Dipendekan ceta.. kan pejabat imigrisen tapi rupanya duit ku kurang .. supposed to be $60.. tapi dlm beg ku hanya $55 sahaja... tepaksa ke MoneyLink di Mabuhai...
Arrived Pejabat Imigrisen jam 8.30 pagi terus mengambil number.. kediaku ganya yang membuat pasport... terustah process.. begambar terus arah kaunter atu tapi balik2 nda jua mau accept by the system.. brangkali computer nda dpt trace my face kali.. orang kebenaran kali bah...........
Booooo.... no preparation ... surat beranak, i/c... pasport lama nda berfotokopi.. so tpaksa tah naik ke tkt I untuk photocopy disana bayar geng 30 sen....
Siap semuanya dokumen di proses... then merayu untuk mencepatkan siap pasport ah kalau boleh tah sehari... kata pegawai sana tu mesti 3 hari... tapi katanya kalau "Kita ada surat mengatakan menghadiri Seminar... boleh dipertimbangkan"... syukur jua ku bawa my copy..
then proceed to Room No. 11 untuk mendapatkan pertimbangan.... lagi nda preparation.. the officer needs photocopy of the official letter from KKBS... so tpaksa tah ku naik ke tkt 1 lagi... ngalehhhhh x ah...
... afta 2 hrs.. my NEW BIOMETRIC PASSPORT pun siap...... yahooo... fly-fly the butterfly in the garden, its flying high....
